Pee Duff Shames Himself

In a previous post, Pee Duff posted a response to a "Mr. Thockmith," who says he has suffered mistreatment by fellow TMers because he is gay and that he is looking to establish communication with other gays and lesbians in the TM community. In his response, Duff seems to discount Thockmith's claim of having experienced discrimination:

"I'm curious, not having been involved in the movement beyond
the local center, what your experience of homosexual discrimination
entailed. I know the movement has some screwy views on sex overall,
but I never witnessed discrimination as you mention it.
If you'd care to share a few thoughts, I'd love to get caught
up on some the details that passed me by. Please e-mail me."

Even more callously, P Duff later thought how he could use Mr. Thockmith's plight to attack both this Web site and its webmaster by posting a follow up message:

"I wonder if Mr. Thockmith is aware that by posting in a.m.t.
he opens himself to an attack by Andrew. The discussion of
Andrew's homophobia has been covered thoroughly in a.m.t.
Even Andrew would be forced to admit that it is well-documented.
Mr. Thockmith's posting here will probably earn him a web page:

http://members.xoom.com/ASkolnick/junkyarddog/tmersaregay.htm

[Don't link to this URL; Andrew hasn't finished constructing
the page yet.]"

It's sad that Pee Duff would mock his fellow TMer's plight. Rather than denounce the treatment he received at the hands of fellow TMers, Duff belittles his complaints. I hope this is more out of anger towards me and this Web site than out of actual resentment toward TMers who are gay or lesbian. It is sad that people, who claim to be following an enlightened path, would discriminate against their fellow members because of sexual orientation.
